Fitness Gyms For The Home

Posted by admin on January 26th, 2010 and filed under fitness gyms | 2 Comments »

If you’ve decided this is the year to get serious about your fitness congratulations are in order. Just making the decision is a great start. But between family, work, and other pressing engagements in an all too busy day when the heck will you ever get to the gym? Have you considered investing in one of the many fitness gyms for the home?

It’s really the answer. With just a little help from us we’ll show you how to find the perfect fitness equipment for your home. With so many fitness gyms on the market it can be a bit overwhelming trying to figure out which gym is the right one for you. Heck if you do it right you will choose equipment that your entire family could use. Of course if you have a medical condition always check with your doctor first before undergoing a new fitness program.

Just like different commercial fitness gyms have different equipment to offer their members different home gyms also have different equipment to offer. It’s a lot easier to stay on track with your fitness program if you know what it is you want out of your work out. You should also figure out what your current fitness level is.

You have treadmills, rowing machines, stationary bikes, cross country ski machines, free weights, and even multi machines to choose from. Home fitness gyms can be as simple or as complex as you want. The only other thing limiting you is your budget.

There’s nothing cheap about home fitness gyms. At least not the quality ones and you should never compromise poor quality for a cheap price. A treadmill is always a great buy if you have the room. You can vary your workout, increase the intensity, burn calories and get your cardio workout. Choose a belt driven model that has a safety shut off and that the treadmill itself is wide enough. Make sure you also know what the warranty is.

Home fitness gyms also do well with rowing machines and they offer an all over work out that has minimal impact on joints. Once you get the hang of the rowing machine it is an excellent piece of fitness equipment to have in your repertoire. Stationary bikes have been on the market for ages. The newer ones have a few more bells and whistles but at the end of the day they still do the same basic thing they did back then. Stationary bikes are a great start if you have had a sedentary lifestyle.

Home fitness gyms should always include a set of free weights. They are perfect for sculpting the body. They are affordable, easy to store, and a must for anyone that’s serious about their fitness program. You don’t burn a lot of calories with free rates but you do get some very nice definition by combining the two types of fitness training.

Knowing what it is you want makes it much easier to look at all the home fitness gyms on the market and then choose what’s best for you. You’re going to look great!

Looking for a 3g Mobile Phone?

Are there any fitness centers/gyms where a membership allows you to use any of their locations nationwide?

Posted by admin on January 23rd, 2010 and filed under fitness gyms | 1 Comment »

I travel a lot, and I’d like to have a gym membership that I could use all over the place.

For example, could I buy a membership at the local YMCA and then use other YMCAs around the country too?

Thanks!

At Planet Fitness, if you get the Black Card, you can usually any location nationwide.

The YMCA has some weird rules. You can’t go to one within 50 miles of your local YMCA. Also some YMCA’s have a charge to use their club even if you belong to another YMCA.

what are their job duties working in a hospital?

We have a lot of them in the hospital. Usually they are brought in to evaluate people who are sick or weakened for tube feedings or supplementation. They calculate how many calories they need, and as such how much of what types of feedings and supplements patients get.

question about fitness gyms here in the Philippines?

Posted by admin on January 14th, 2010 and filed under fitness gyms | 5 Comments »

We know gym here in PH like slimmers and fitness first needs membership to use the gym facilities. So is there a gym here in the philippines that will accept walk in customers and just pay per visits? if not, where do you think is a good place to enroll in a gym here? and the reason why?
- thanks
can you tell me what gym name are those? thanks!

Just look around your place and see if you can find one. Most of the gyms in malls requires membership. If you’re really serious about getting muscular body and six-pack abs, maybe you need to invest on that… n_n Or might as well jog in a park, or in a school oval.

Why do Fitness First gyms quote different tarriffs all the time? Why have I been quoted different prices??

Posted by admin on January 10th, 2010 and filed under fitness gyms | 3 Comments »

I would like to join the Fitness First gym by my work and am intrigued by the way the same gym have quoted me different prices on different occasions. Four people I know who go there are on completely different price bands for exaclty the same services at the same gym! Does anybody know how they work out the tarrifs? I don’t want to get ripped off if I could get a better deal…

They have special offers all the time so the four people you know will have signed up at different times on different offers. Find the lowest and use this as your starting point when discussing the price of membership. Remember the price they give you is only a starting point and you can haggle and ask for a discount. You might find different prices on one of the shopping comparison internet sites.

Good luck

how do i do gym marketing, fitness centers, gyms or health club and copyright ads to retain gym members cheap?

Posted by admin on January 8th, 2010 and filed under fitness gyms | No Comments »

i am wandering what the best and cheapest way to do gym marketing or fitness marketing so i don’t waste money doing sales letters, press releases, radio ads and brochures for my 24 hour fully automated fitness center, that will work. i need different ideas to market my gym also. i also would also like to find out what the best referral program would be to retain my gym members?

One inexpensive method I’ve found that really works is to pin business cards on bulletin boards at local grocery stores, libraries, coffee shops etc. It’s an easy (and cheap) way to target customers.

We’ve had a lot of success by using CardCues – they’re cardboard holders that display about 40 cards at a time. This saves me oodles of time from having to keep going back to the bulletin boards to replenish. If a customer takes a card – there are 39 more there still displaying my message. They also have a fairly small foot print – so store owners don’t mind you hanging them up – and they look cool. We bought them from a local dealer here but you can get them online.
hope this helps.

Are there health clubs or fitness gyms for women in Khobar/Dammam Saudi Arabia?

Posted by admin on January 4th, 2010 and filed under fitness gyms | 4 Comments »

I am looking for a women’s gym with aerobics classes where I can join as a member. I do not live in Aramco so unfortunately do not have access to their services.

There is a curves across from dhahran mall. Primadonna also has a gym but I dont reccomend it personally. There is a new health center behind movenpick hotel called lulua which looks real nice, has gym, aerobics, hip hop, tai bo, and an indoor pool. I was thinking of checking that one out.

Mintee— where did you hear that!?!?!?!?! why?! when!?!!?
